International Women's Day

International Women's Day highlights the transformative role of women in communities, especially in East Africa. Safari by Leo hosts three unique annual safaris dedicated to celebrating and empowering Tanzanian women. Itinerary Highlights:

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania, welcome by Leo & Charles, and accommodation at Salinero Hotel in Moshi.

Day 2: Chagga Culture Tour, Materuni Waterfalls, and introduction to Leo, a pioneering female Safari guide.

Day 3: Game drive in Tarangire National Park and dinner with a local matriarch.

Day 4: Explore Ngorongoro Crater and learn about local agriculture and women's roles.

Day 5: Full day in the Serengeti, celebrating International Women's Day with unique activities.

Day 6: Journey to Lake Natron and meet with Maasai women leaders.

Day 7: Visit Lake Eyasi, engage with local communities, and learn from a Hadza school teacher.

Day 8: Cultural tours with the Hadza and Datoga tribes, and transfer to Arusha for a celebratory dinner.
